About the Role

As part of the Data Science team, you will collaborate closely with customers and bring expertise in data science and AI to help them achieve their organization's objectives. You'll work with clients in various industries on diverse use cases and with stakeholders in business (executive, line of business) and technical (data science, engineering, analytics).

Key Responsibilities:

Post-sales:

  • Be the product and data science subject matter expert to our customers by leading implementation, advising on the viability and execution of use cases, helping to develop Joint Success Plans (JSP), and leading their execution.
  • Ensure the success of our customers by helping to achieve quantifiable Value Realization Indicators—leading to renewals, expansions, and furthering the growth of both our customers and the company.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on AI across the customer lifecycle; enable customers to solve complex data science problems – including problem framing, data preparation, scripting, model building, model deployment, model management, and output consumption.

General:

  • Act internally as the voice of the customer to the Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
  • Present at conferences and/or help create other marketing content.

Key Relationships:

  • Collaborate across the GTM organization, including Sales, Customer Success, and other Applied AI Experts teams.
  • Provide feedback from the field to colleagues in Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Support.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • English & Arabic speaking
  • Familiarity with consultative sales processes in the data/analytics marketplace
  • Experience dealing with complex customer organizations
  • Hands-on experience building and implementing machine learning or AI models
  • Familiarity with a variety of technical tools for the manipulation of data
  • Ability to understand, write, and collaborate with Python or R
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure that machine learning solutions deliver successful business outcomes
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities
  • Regional travel may be required

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience either in a pre-sales role or in Data Science/predictive modeling. Strong candidates with 2+ years of experience as a pre-sales or post sales data scientist will also be considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative subject.
  • Strong customer interaction, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
