Job Description
The
Procurement Coordinator
is responsible for supporting the procurement function by coordinating all purchasing activities, including follow-up on purchase orders, deliveries, payments, and supplier communications, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all Purchase Orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Track delivery status and inform stakeholders of any delays or updates.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
- Monitor and close Purchase Orders in the ERP system.
- Coordinate supplier payments in collaboration with Finance.
- Support supplier registration and ensure all required documentation is complete.
- Assist in sourcing qualified suppliers for required categories as needed.
- Prepare regular reports on Purchase Orders and delivery status for managers and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain support.
- Basic knowledge of procurement processes and documentation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
