Discipline-Specific Responsibilities:

Civil QA/QC Inspector:

  • Inspect formwork, rebar installation, concrete pouring, curing, backfilling, compaction, and finishing works.
  • Monitor civil lab tests (concrete, soil, aggregates) and verify test results.
  • Ensure proper application of waterproofing, grouting, and structural tolerances.

Mechanical QA/QC Inspector:

  • Inspect static and rotating equipment installation, alignment, grouting, and bolt torquing.
  • Verify material certificates, dimensional checks, and installation procedures.
  • Supervise mechanical equipment pre-commissioning and testing.

E&I QA/QC Inspector:

  • Inspect cable routing, cable termination, grounding, instrument installation, and panel checks.
  • Perform continuity and insulation resistance tests, loop checks, and functional tests.
  • Review and verify calibration certificates of instruments.

Piping QA/QC Inspector:

  • Inspect pipe fabrication, fit-up, welding, alignment, and flange joint assemblies.
  • Verify compliance with isometric drawings, P&IDs, and material traceability.
  • Witness hydrotests, pneumatic tests, and flushing activities.

Welding QA/QC Inspector:

  • Monitor welding processes, ensure proper WPS/PQR/WPQ usage.
  • Check weld visual inspection, dimensional checks, and NDT (RT, UT, PT, MT) coordination.
  • Review and maintain weld logs and welder qualification records.

Painting/Coating QA/QC Inspector:

  • Verify surface preparation, environmental conditions, DFT (Dry Film Thickness), and coating system compliance.
  • Perform holiday testing, adhesion tests, and inspection of fireproofing and insulation works.
  • Maintain paint batch certifications and MSDS documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) or related discipline.
  • 5–10 years of experience
    in QA/QC inspection within oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial construction projects.
  • Previous experience in
    Aramco, SABIC, or any other major projects
    is preferred.
