We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Odoo Developer to lead the technical aspects of our ERP upgrade project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing custom modules, migrating existing functionalities, optimizing system performance, and ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems. The role requires deep expertise in Odoo's architecture, version upgrades, and enterprise-level implementations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the technical success of the migration and long-term system sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design and develop custom Odoo modules, reports, and workflows.


• Customize existing Odoo modules and integrate third-party APIs.


• Develop RESTful APIs and connect Odoo with other systems.


• Participate in system architecture design, code reviews, and performance tuning.


• Maintain and migrate databases (PostgreSQL) and perform version upgrades (e.g., Odoo 11 to 18).


• Exposure to multi-company and multi-currency environments in Odoo.


• Experience in Odoo Enterprise and Community Editions with understanding of their key differences.


• Hands-on experience with performance profiling and optimization for large-scale Odoo implementations.


• Discuss complex development tasks and architectural decisions with the Lead to align with best practices and project standards.


• Must be proficient in both Odoo Enterprise and Community Editions, with a strong understanding of their functional and technical differences.

Requirements:


• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.


• 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Odoo development.


• Knowledge of functional flows in Accounting, HRMS, Purchase etc.


• Strong command of Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, XML, and QWeb.


• Experience with Odoo's ORM, security rules, access control, and reporting engine.


• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker is a plus.


• Ensure proper implementation of Arabic language support by following Odoo Enterprise's built-in RTL and translation standards.

Preferred Skills:


• Familiarity with data migration, system integration, and UAT practices.


• Ability to write clear and concise business and functional requirement documents.


• Certifications in Business Analysis or Odoo functional tracks are an added advantage.

Work Environment:


• The position is based entirely on-site at the company's office (no remote work).


• Close collaboration with IT, vendors, and business stakeholders.


• Fast-paced project environment focused on system modernization and operational efficiency.
