GENERAL ROLE
:
As Plumber Cum Pool Attendant at Miraval The Red Sea, your main role is performing installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations throughout the property. Maintain the pools around the resort.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
:
Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Miraval The Red Sea colleagues continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As Plumber Cum Pool Attendant you will need to:
- To clean grease traps, filters and drains as necessary.
- Maintain the pool chemical levels.
- Perform pool cleaning & vacuum.
- Inspect and repair plumbing systems including cold water, hot water and sewage pipes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Plumbing malfunctions safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and codes.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest concerns.
- Maintain tools and inventory.
- Assist in general engineering duties as required.
- Coordinate with contractors or vendors when needed.
- Ensure all work areas are clean and organized.
- Other duties as assigned by Engineering leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a plumber or water quality technician is required.
- Plumbing certification or license preferred.
- Basic English language skills are required. Arabic speaking would be an advantage.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS (IF ANY)
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Able to lift and carry tools and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
- Exposure to live electricity, noise, dust, and other physical hazards.
