Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Purchase Manager with a strong background in the textile industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting production requirements through timely material availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality materials at competitive prices.
  • Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory levels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks, specifically within the textile sector.
  • Coordinate closely with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Conduct supplier assessments and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Travel as required for supplier visits, negotiations, and trade events.

Requirements:

  • 5–6 years of proven experience as a Purchase Executive/Manager in the textile industry (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, materials, and textile supply chains.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently based on business needs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
