It requires a logistics ecosystem that has a high edge model of agility and efficiency considering complexity of relatively high size portfolio with different type of operations and customers' behaiviors.JOB PURPOSEUnilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better world. The logistics assisstnant manager plays a critical role in ensuring smooth warehousing and transportation across KSA by managing finished goods outbound movements. This role ensures the right balance between service, cost, and saving targets. It requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a continuous improvement mindset to drive supply chain excellence.Scope includes managing 3PL Maersk Logistics Park in Jeddah and Riyadh warehouse in terms of outbound & inventory for both primary and secondary operations. Monitoring all warehousing, transportations, logistics distribution cost, JV distribution cost & governance, as well as leading logistics excellence agenda. You will be also responsible for building, developing, and reviewing the department KPIs and evaluate their outcomes. Also, you will be responsible for developing the team capabilities and skills and discuss their future fit plans. In addition, accountable to deliver logistics safety, quality, cost savings, business waste reduction, customer service, continuous improvement projects and sustainability improvements.WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE• Ensure distribution of products on time and in full within the required conditions for Primary & Secondary (DR).• Support in CCFOT (Customer Case Fill On Time); Working Capital (Stock) reduction throughout inventory optimization. • Determine and optimize the warehouse and transport capacity with 3PL's, do performance management for all 3PLs.• Ensure all operations in Warehouse and Distribution are within the agreed SHEQ and food safety guidelines of Unilever.• Daily operations monitor for service compliance.• Conduct periodic stock count and reconcile physical, 3PL and UL system stocks to ensure stock accuracy.• Monitor and organize FIFO applications in the warehouse operations, avoid business waste and follow shelf-life requirements of the markets.• Monitor cross boarder containers.• Lead KSA Logistics Excellence on distribution savings projects as well as Joint Venture Savings.• KSA Logistics initiative lead for potential opportunities with the customers towards network optimization.• Manage the effective processing of supplier invoices and payments to 3PLs; customer claims.• Ensure appropriate stock provisions are made in books for SLOB's. Ensure timely initiation of disposals to minimize losses.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDExperiences & Qualifications• 4–5 years of experience in Supply Chain. Preferrably in logistics/CX.• Bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain.Skills• Strategic thinking and problem-solving.• Ability to manage scalable operations and manage reportees in terms of governance.• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management.• SAP ECC and WMS.• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.• Inventory management.• AI prompting, data analytics and visualization.• Understanding stocks reconciliation processes and governance.• Can-do/Go-get attitude and the desire to make unlikely things happen• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• Cross functional business/sourcing/innovation process knowledge• Time management & prioritizationLeadership• You are energized by delivering fantastic results.
