For one of our client, we're looking for an
Expert Agentic AI Engineer
to craft and implement
autonomous AI agents
designed to enhance clinical workflows, elevate patient engagement, and optimize medical operations. In this role, you will create advanced systems that support healthcare professionals, automate repetitive tasks, ensure compliance, and drive data-informed decision-making while adhering to necessary healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop
    LLM-driven AI agents
    to assist with diverse clinical and operational activities, including care coordination, scheduling, triage assistance, documentation, and analytics.
  • Create agentic systems that automate workflows across EHR/EMR platforms, patient communication tools, and administrative systems.
  • Seamlessly integrate AI agents with healthcare data sources, such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, claims data, and wearables.
  • Implement
    RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
    to ensure agents safely reference medical guidelines, clinical documentation, and hospital protocols.
  • Guarantee that all AI agent workflows comply with
    HIPAA
    ,
    GDPR
    , and other healthcare data governance standards.
  • Partner with clinical teams to translate their needs into effective and dependable agent behaviors.
  • Conduct detailed evaluations of models focusing on clinical accuracy, safety, explainability, and auditability.
  • Develop monitoring systems to evaluate agent performance and ensure reliability in sensitive healthcare environments.
  • Integrate with cloud services and healthcare APIs, including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, and Redox.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for clinical stakeholders and compliance teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Computer Science
    ,
    AI/ML
    ,
    Biomedical Informatics
    , or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in
    Python
    and expertise with modern LLM agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI).
  • Thorough understanding of healthcare data standards such as FHIR/HL7 and experience with EMR/EHR integration.
  • Proven experience in building automated workflows or intelligent agents within regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, and RAG pipelines.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g.,

  • Strong software engineering principles, including CI/CD, testing, and version control.
