Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Application Manager in the Water Heating Department, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities


• Perform pipe sizing, pipe material selection, heat-loss calculations, and determine correct insulation requirements.


• Circulation pump selection with full calculation sheets including flow rate, head loss, NPSH, and system curve evaluation.


• Calculate daily hot water demand based on ASHRAE, SBC, and project-specific requirements.


• Prepare method of statements (MOS) and risk assessments for installation and commissioning.


• Compile high-quality technical submittals (data sheets, compliance matrices, BOQ, flow diagrams)

and Prepare and develop AutoCAD drawings, including layouts, schematics, pipe routing, and detailed shop drawings.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure compliance with project specifications.


• Review IFC drawings, prepare redlines, and support site teams with technical clarifications/RFIs.


• Conduct heat pump capacity selection, tank sizing, and solar thermodynamic system calculations.


• Prepare hydraulic calculations including pressure drop, flow balancing, and pump head verification.


• Assist the sales team with pre-sales technical support, system design options, and solution optimization.


• Ensure all designs meet SASO, SEC, and local authority requirements where applicable.


• Provide training and guidance to technicians during installation and commissioning phases.

Qualifications & Skills Required


• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.


• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in domestic hot water (DHW), heat pumps, boilers, or hydronic system design.


• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Shop Drawing Preparation, and technical documentation.


• Solid understanding of ASHRAE standards for hot water demand.


• Excellent calculation skills: pump sizing, pipe sizing, pressure drop, flow rate.


• Ability to prepare method statements, risk assessments, and submittals.


• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.


• Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
