Position : HVAC Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including:
  • Working knowledge of Split units, Package units, Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, and exhaust/ventilation fans, Chilled water Pumps, Compressor, Blowers
  • Ability to work and troubleshoot Chillers and their components
  • Working knowledge of Motor Alignment with different equipment like AHU, Chilled Water Pumps, Blowers etc.
  • Perform preventive maintenance of HVAC equipment as per schedule.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues in HVAC systems.
  • Clean and replace air filters, check refrigerant levels, and perform leak tests.
  • Calibrate thermostats and controls and ensure proper temperature regulation.
  • Diagnose faults in compressors, motors, blowers, and other HVAC components.
  • Maintain and repair ductwork, insulation, and dampers.
  • Record maintenance logs, service reports, and usage of materials.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and procedures while working with pressurized systems, refrigerants, and electrical components.
  • Coordinate with other technicians (electrical, plumbing, civil) for integrated facility maintenance tasks.

Qualifications Required:

  • ITI Certification or Diploma in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related technical field.
  • Additional certifications in HVAC systems or refrigerant handling are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with building automation systems (BMS) is a plus.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an HVAC technician in facility management, building services, or industrial sites.
  • Experience working with large HVAC systems in hospitals, malls, commercial towers, or industrial plants is preferred.
