One of JobIn Clients is looking for a skilled and proactive BMS Technician to join our facilities management and technical operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure all building systems run efficiently and reliably. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:


• Operate, monitor, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) for HVAC, lighting, electrical, fire alarm, and other building services.


• Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on BMS hardware and software components.


• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure smooth operation of the system.


• Support the installation, configuration, and commissioning of BMS equipment, sensors, and control systems.


• Analyze system alarms, performance data, and energy consumption to identify optimization opportunities.


• Coordinate with maintenance teams, vendors, and contractors for system repairs or upgrades.


• Ensure all BMS-related activities comply with safety standards, operational procedures, and company policies.


• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, calibration, and configuration activities.


• Provide technical support during system expansions, integrations, and modifications.


• Stay updated on the latest BMS technologies and control strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

Skills

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting control diagrams, wiring schematics, and system architecture drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with BMS platforms such as Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Schneider, or Trane.
  • Strong understanding of BMS systems, HVAC controls, electrical systems, and instrumentation.
  • Ability to perform system backups, software updates, and parameter adjustments.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, etc.).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in BMS operations, maintenance, or installation.
  • Previous experience in facility management, construction, or MEP environments is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to building systems.
  • Familiarity with energy management systems and automation concepts is an advantage.
