Summary:

The Site Supervisor oversees daily on-site operations, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans, quality standards, and Saudi regulatory requirements. The role acts as a bridge between workers, subcontractors, engineers, and management to ensure seamless workflow and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to communicate work plans, deadlines, and quality expectations.
  • Monitor manpower performance and allocate tasks to ensure optimal productivity.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify risks, hazards, or deviations, and take corrective actions immediately.
  • Ensure all work adheres to
    Saudi Building Codes
    , civil defense guidelines, and local municipality regulations.
  • Maintain site documents including daily reports, attendance sheets, materials received, and progress updates.
  • Oversee material usage, request supplies, and prevent wastage or shortages.
  • Support in resolving site-related issues, conflicts, or delays and escalate critical matters to project management.
  • Enforce safety protocols (PPE, permits, toolbox talks) and lead safety briefings.
  • Ensure subcontractors deliver work within quality, timeline, and budget expectations.
  • Prepare daily/weekly progress reports for project managers.
  • Assist in testing, commissioning, and final quality inspections before project handover.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in KSA.
  • Strong knowledge of
    Saudi labor laws
    , safety regulations, and municipal permit processes.
  • Experience managing manpower and subcontractors on active sites.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings (civil, mechanical, electrical depending on project).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to work in high-demand environments with tight deadlines.
