We are seeking a Database Engineer with strong hands-on experience in MariaDB to manage, maintain, and optimize database systems supporting critical business applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high performance, availability, and security of the databases.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain MariaDB databases across development, testing, and production environments.

Perform database tuning, optimization, and performance monitoring.

Implement and manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.

Ensure database security, access control, and compliance with internal policies.

Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and performance issues.

Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration.

Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and operational procedures.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator or Engineer (preferably with MariaDB/MySQL).

Strong understanding of SQL queries, stored procedures, and schema design.

Experience in Linux environments and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).

Familiarity with replication, clustering, and high-availability setups.

Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Percona).

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
