We are seeking an experienced and creative "Pastry and Bakery Chef" to join a Knead Bakery in Jeddah. A passionate candidate for crafting high-quality pastries, bread, and other baked goods. The Pastry and Bakery Chef will be responsible for overseeing the production of our bakery items, ensuring exceptional taste, quality, and presentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a diverse range of pastries, cakes, bread, and bakery items, following established recipes and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with bakery management to enhance the pastry menu, proposing new flavors, designs, and seasonal offerings.
  • Source high-quality ingredients, manage inventory efficiently, and ensure freshness.
  • Supervise and guide the bakery team, fostering teamwork and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.
  • Guarantee consistent quality and taste through regular inspections and prompt issue resolution.
  • Present baked goods attractively, interact with customers professionally, and optimize production processes for cost-effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and continually enhance skills in pastry and bakery production.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry and Bakery Chef or in a similar role.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Creative flair and passion for baking.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry arts.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
