About the Role

Orient Castle Contracting Co. is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented
Mechanical Engineer (Site)
to join our construction team. The role involves managing site-level mechanical activities, ensuring high-quality installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all mechanical site works (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting).
  • Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
  • Ensure mechanical installations are executed as per approved shop drawings and standards.
  • Coordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural teams to resolve site issues.
  • Prepare and monitor work schedules, progress reports, and inspection requests (IRs).
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure timely delivery of assigned scope.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Assist in material approvals, procurement follow-ups, and site inspections.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5-8 years of experience in site-based mechanical works for construction projects (preferably in KSA).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire protection design/execution.
  • Familiarity with Saudi codes and international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and MS Office.
  • Transferable Iqama (for non-Saudis).
