Key Responsibilities

  • Handle cash, card, and electronic payment transactions accurately.
  • Issue receipts, invoices, and payment confirmations to customers.
  • Maintain daily cash records and perform end-of-day cash reconciliation.
  • Record transactions in billing or accounting systems accurately.
  • Assist customers with payment-related inquiries in a polite and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team for daily and monthly financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information.

Requirements and Skills

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar customer-facing finance role.
  • Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and record-keeping procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and billing or POS systems.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Honest, reliable, and able to work independently.
