Job Summary:

The QA/QC Electrical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of projects with adherence to specifications and industry standards. This role involves monitoring, testing, and inspecting products and services throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to defined quality standards. The engineer will identify potential issues, recommend corrective actions, and maintain comprehensive quality documentation. Key skills include expertise in ISO standards, strong problem-solving abilities, and a keen attention to detail.

Job Requirements:

  • Develop and update quality documentation templates and standards for project use, including but not limited to Project Quality Plans, Procedures (from scratch), RMI, RFI, etc.
  • Conduct tests such as insulation resistance, continuity, and functional tests on electrical systems.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).
  • Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with electrical standards and regulations.
  • Monitor installation processes to ensure strict adherence to design specifications.
  • Track and analyze project quality statistics on a daily basis.
  • Support the quality teams to match the projects' requirements and expectations.
  • Define and update the company's internal quality standard to be followed globally over all projects.
  • Maintain a lesson learned register and ensure continuous improvement across projects.
  • Prepare and update audit documentation including templates and records.
  • Verify the quality and suitability of materials used in construction.
  • Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and relevant codes.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and results.
  • Prepare reports on quality findings and issues
  • Identify and document any non-conformance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with QA standards and regulations.
  • Review processes and practices to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Certified QC/QA Electrical Engineer by SEC (Underground Cables Projects)
  • 5 years of experience in the same field or equivalent
  • Saudi Nationals Only
  • Willingness to work across the Western Region of KSA
