About The Role
Mid-level Procurement professional. Carries out processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement, including RFQs/RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis. Works with buyers in activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and / or services.

Key Responsibilities
As a Procurement Associate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Carries out processes and standards in support of Procurement, including RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability.
  • Responds to relevant teams' inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Works with buyers in activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services.
  • Prepare purchase orders and payment approvals to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.
  • Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.

Requirements
We are looking for people who have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management
  • Limited to some knowledge of Carrier organization
  • 2 - 3 years prior relevant experience
  • Strong skills in developing and managing vendor relationship
  • Creating POs through SAP
  • PO Tracker updating
  • Send RFQ/RFP requests

Nice to have

  • Construction or Hvac experience. / Experience in managing Subcontractors
  • Experience with Rate contracts
