Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Educational background and certifications:
     Bachelor's degree in Networks or Information Security.
  • Minimum years of experience:
     At least 4 years of relevant experience in network administration and cybersecurity.
  • Core technical skills and proficiencies:
     Demonstrated expertise in network architecture, cybersecurity controls, incident response, and risk mitigation.
  • Critical soft skills:
     Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Technical Qualifications

  • Specific software, tools, and technologies:
     Proficiency in network monitoring tools, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Programming languages:
     Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Industry-specific knowledge:
     Understanding of compliance regulations and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or GDPR.
  • Required licenses or certifications:
     CCNA, CCNP, Security+, or CISSP are preferred.
