Description

A) Responsibilities:

Ink preparation:

- Prepare recipes, formulations and mixes ink.

- Remove ink from unused stations, to special buckets

- Separate new ink form left over

- Weight all buckets and tag them, then store them in their respective place

- Check all ink tanks, and order what is low in the printing section stock

- Maintain all ink mix for machine

- Help machine operators to adjust colors

- Recommend actions for depletions and stock control

- Fill and sign ink consumption sheet

- Give recommendation and feedback, on the type of inks to be used

- Manage ink room

- Assists in the Solvent tanker unloading in the underground tankers.

- Troubleshoots any problem, and report to the shift supervisor major ones

- Tries to propose methods for improvement.

B) Authorities:

- Reject defective Raw material.

- Suspend production when in doubt of any parameter or condition

A) Within the Departments: all production unit related staff.

B) With other Departments: Maintenance unit staff and QA staff.

C) With external parties: None.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

A) Education & Experience

Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is acquired through a primary school diploma or equivalent.

Skills:

- Controlling operations of equipment or systems.

- Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.

- Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.

- Conducting tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality or performance.

Knowledge:

- Raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture

of goods.

- Machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance, as well as basic ink properties.

Abilities:

- Quickly and repeatedly adjust the colors to the required shades.

- Match or detect differences between required layout and actual one.

- Match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness.

- Identify film or laminated structures and their properties.

- Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

- See details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

- Communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.

- Add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly.

- Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.

- Choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem.

6 - OTHER CHARACTERISTICS (WORKING CONDITIONS, PHYSICAL EFFORTS, etc)

Ability to lift up to 15 Kgs required.

Ability to withstand alternating shifts.
