Who are we looking for?

Our client a Global Payments Firm is currently carrying out a project for a Leading Finanancial Institution in Saudi Arabia.

The selected individual would be required to lead the design, development, and launch of digital wallet — a flagship fintech product that will redefine client's digital wallet value proposition.

Thie selected professional would be required to ensure operational readiness and commercial success by aligning internal teams and external partners under a unified delivery roadmap. Covering full-cycle delivery, a strategic card-based cashback product developed under a BaaS model. This will transform the digital wallet from a loyalty platform into a fintech-enabled service provider, embedding financial services into its ecosystem.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the client project plan, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivery timelines
• Lead cross-functional execution across finance, IT, marketing, marketplace, and support teams.
• Serve as the central point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.
• Deliver a fully operational, scalable, and compliant client's digital wallet platform ready for post-project handover.
• Finance Operations & Controls - Monitor the finance team's implementation of cashback workflows, wallet liability tracking, reconciliation, and monthly reporting to ensure financial accuracy and audit readiness.
• Marketplace & Merchant Monetization - Oversee the merchant onboarding process and monetization model rollout, ensuring teams execute segmentation, billing, and subscription strategies effectively.
• Growth Marketing Execution - Coordinate marketing to ensure timely execution of launch campaigns, brand assets, and influencer activations that align with user acquisition goals.
• Customer Success & Support Readiness - Ensure the support team develops and tests user and merchant support journeys, SOPs, and escalation flows in preparation for launch.
• IT Governance & Regulatory Compliance -Supervise the integration of SNB's SDK and ensure IT teams meet SAMA compliance standards and prepare audit documentation.
• Data Infrastructure & Analytics- Guide the data team in defining schemas, building dashboards, and ensuring data readiness for performance tracking and reporting.
• Product-Led Growth & Optimization- Track product performance metrics and ensure the product team iterates on features and flows to drive user activation, retention, and merchant impact.

Skills & Qualification:

• 10+ years in fintech, digital payments, or banking project delivery
• Experience with Banking as a Service (BaaS), card programs, or mobile wallet launches preferred Deep understanding of digital payments, card systems, and embedded finance.
• Familiarity with Saudi fintech regulations and SAMA compliance frameworks.
• Strong project management skills (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
• Experience with BI tools, data modeling, and KPI tracking.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Technology (MBA preferred).
• Strategic planning and tactical execution.
• Cross-functional leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Regulatory and risk management in fintech environments.
• Technical fluency in SDKs, APIs, and data architecture.
• Bilingual communication (Arabic & English).
• Problem-solving and adaptability in fast-paced settings.
• Deep familiarity with Saudi fintech regulations (SAMA, KYC/AML).
• Strong strategic and hands-on delivery capability.
