Electronic Warfare Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary:

Lead and execute domain-specific engineering activities related to Electronic Warfare systems to support the formation of effective technical teams and drive the development, integration, and delivery of required systems and products.

Responsibilities:
Lead the design and integration of land-based EW systems including COMINT, ELINT, and jammersDefine and manage system architecture, interfaces, and technical baselines, including the development of interface control documents, architecture diagrams, and verification matricesAssess system interoperability, EMC and EMI compliance, RF spectrum management, and cyber resilienceManage integration of EW systems onto tactical vehicles and shelters, addressing SWaP, RF propagation, and electromagnetic compatibility constraintsEnsure compliance with military and NATO standards including MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, STANAG 4631, and DEF STANsLead technical reviews, risk assessments, and platform integration trials through to final acceptanceSupport the development of technical proposals, system concepts, and requirements baselines for complex EW solutionsMentor engineering staff and enforce system-level consistency across project teamsEvaluate current and emerging technologies to assess applicability to operational needsQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering disciplineMaster's degree or PhD is highly desirableExperience:

Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in Electronic Warfare systems engineering, integration, and technical leadershipFamiliarity of modern communications technologies, waveforms, and protocolsDeep knowledge of COMINT, ELINT, and RF jamming techniques and subsystemsExperience with system-level modeling, signal processing, and spectrum analysis toolsExperience with CAD and CAE tools used in electronic or mechanical integration
