Requirements :

  • Appropriate qualification that allows registration with HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner. HPCSA registration s independent practitioner. Current HPCSA registration 2024-2025.
  • Grade 1 none after registration as Medical Practitioner with HPCSA.
  • Grade 2 minimum of 5 years appropriate experience as a medical practitioner after registration with HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
  • Grade 3 minimum of 10 years appropriate experience as a Medical Practitioner after registration with HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
  • Knowledge and experience of completion of RAF forms will be added advantage.
  • Attendance of AMA guides for evaluation of permanent impairment presented by American Medical associates or by foundation for professional development programme will be added advantage .

Duties :

  • Checking of MVA files for all the required documents before completion.
  • Prioritising files that are about to prescribe.
  • Completion of RAF 1 form. Visiting admitted patients to get more information when necessary.
  • Good working relationship with MVA Officers, Case managers and Finance. Avoid backlog of MVA files
