Buccellati is an Italian jewellery, high-jewellery, and silversmithing Maison founded in 1919, admired in the world for its craftmanship and the uniqueness of its creations. The Maison has been part of the global luxury group Richemont since September 2019 and the Buccellati family is still present in the Company to perpetuate its style and unparalleled craftsmanship tradition.
As part of its strategic development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager, to support the development of Buccellati Maison in the market.
Your mission:
The Business Development Manager of Buccellati KSA will have a strategic and operational role to develop lead and manage the retail team in KSA for retail excellence.
She/He will develop and maximize retail business and empower the retail team, will handle the first internal boutique in Solitaire, Riyadh, with future boutiques planned bringing new ideas, and driving initiatives to support the launch and business development of the Maison in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
She/He will collaborate with the MEIA regional team, HQ customer service, and local Richemont teams.
This role brings together all the aspects of an entrepreneurial challenge as part of the launch of Maison Buccellati in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This role will report to the Brand Director, Middle East
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management and Coaching:
- Manage and mentor Boutique manager(s) and support him/her in developing his/her team (Sales Advisors)
- Recruit, build, and develop retail teams
- Conduct training and coaching on products, CRM, and clienteling to enhance business performance and client experience
- Monitor staff performance and promote learning and development
- Prepare onboarding experience for retail new joiners and lead the Induction training for new openings
Boutique Operations/Business Development:
- Ensure boutique operations comply with corporate guidelines
- Execute business strategy and achieve sales targets by analyzing, and acting on sales forecast / KPIs, whilst coordinating with the MEIA Regional Sales & Retail Operations Executive
- Lead local business development with external clients (architects, wedding planners, etc.)
- Set up processes for effective retail operations
- Coordinate new boutique openings
- Ensure perfect stock management (forecasts and orders)
- Ensure that the client experience is at the highest standards
- Ensure availability of PLV, uniforms, packaging, and consumable orders
- Maintenance & VM: support boutique teams in ensuring maintenance is done in a timeline manner and VM is done as per Maison guidelines
- Identify potential retail development opportunities with the Brand Director
- Review market trends and competition in all aspects including sales program, product variety, pricing, marketing, and communication
Marketing and Communication:
- Work closely with the MEIA Regional Marketing & Communication Manager
- Coordinate Sales and Marketing activities in KSA
- Develop and implement CRM & clienteling strategies and retail activations
- Support the relevant key gifting period (Ramadan, Eid, Saudi National Day, etc.) with asset creation, boutique activations, and client treatment ideas
Job profile:
- Business school/commercial background
- Minimum 5 years of Commercial / Retail Management experience
- Ability to develop, motivate, and lead a team
- Results-oriented with strong CRM skills
- Collaborative, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English and Arabic
