Class Teachers have a responsibility for delivering the majority of the curriculum to their class, but will work closely with colleagues ensuring a collaborative approach to teaching and learning across the Year Group. Person Specification:

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

relevant Bachelor's Degree, ideally gained at a UK UniversityUK Postgraduate Certificate of Education or Qualified Teacher Statusminimum of two years' relevant teaching experience, ideallyexcellent working knowledge of the National Curriculum of Englanda strong academic background, stature and experience that will command the respect of pupils, parents, colleagues and the wider communitya commitment to academic progress and the welfare and safeguarding of studentsknowledge and understanding of recent educational developments and best practice

Desirable skills and experience: 

an understanding of the demands of a UK independent school environmentexperience working with children who have English as an Additional Languagea secure knowledge of using technology to support education
