Job Title: Egress Systems Maintenance Technician Grade: 8 Location: Dhahran JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda including Saudisation and the training and development of Saudi National capability through the growth of the Saudi National Partner Companies thereby reinforcing Industrialisation and Partnerships. The role of the Egress Technician is to carry out egress maintenance, repairs and system testing on and off Tornado aircraft. The successful candidate may also be required to provide support to the RSAF away from TMSC/shop

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES · Performs major and minor egress repairs, modifications and TCTOs on the Tornado egress system. · Responsible for the quality and completeness of the work carried out, or signs for as having been carried out, on the egress system. · Works within the requirements of the TSS Quality System and RSAF Technical Orders. · Completes TSS forms, appropriate aircraft forms, records and maintenance documentation. · Ensures maximum effort is made to safeguard the programme timescales in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner. · Provides on-the-job and theory training. · Deputises, if required, for the supervisor. · Ensures authorisations are current for the task in hand. · Highlight to the immediate supervisor areas of inexperience or training requirements, for themselves and the team. · Complies with the requirements of the TSS Quality System and RSAF Technical Orders/publications. · Ensures Health and Safety / Duty of Care policies contained in the TSS SHE Policy manual are fully understood and adhered to.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION Critical · Completed a recognised Trade Apprenticeship or equivalent. · Extensive experience working on fast jets, ideally Tornado aircraft. · Ability to interpret electrical drawings. · Current UK/Saudi Driving Licence. Desirable · Completion of Tornado Egress Maintenance course. · Tornado system testing and flight line experience. · Working knowledge of Q-pulse, DMS and an understanding of M&CA processes. · Experience of deep aircraft maintenance, Tornado. · Experience of RSAF documentation and procedures. · Familiarity with PC use and the Microsoft Office suite.
