SUMMARY OFRESPONSIBILITIES:

Greets guests and presents them with themenu.

Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changesifany.

Suggest food and beverages to the guest and also try toupsell.

Take food and beverage orders from the guest on the order takingpads

Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returningthechange.

Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed bysupervisor.

Filling in for absent staff as needed in any of the F&Bdepartment within thehotel.

Punch in the order on the POS machine and make sure to enter thespecial requirements made by the guest while ordering the food. Eg:No Garlic, less spicy etc, Without eggetc.

Communicate to the guest and provide assistance with theirqueries.

Work as a team to get all the job tasks completed in any giventime.

Observes guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food andservice.

Promptly respond to the guest with any additionalrequest.

Taking guest feedback and encouraging guest to share their feedbackon our social media platform e.g. Trip advisor, Trust youetc.

Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfillingcustomer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses,replenishing utensils, refillingglasses.

Properly open and pour wine at thetableside.

Adhere to grooming and appearance standardsconsistently.

Understands and can communicate products and services available attheresort.

Must have some familiarity with basic cookingknowledge.

Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones andcompleting financialtransactions.

Print closing report and drop the cash with the front office /accountsdepartment.

Tally the Credit Card settlements for the day with the batchclosing report from EDCmachine.

Close the shift on the POSterminal.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent communication skills in English, both written andverbal

Trustworthy with attention to detail and high levels of accuracy intheirwork

Pro-active and energetic with a positive can doattitude

Ability to multi-task with prioritizationskills

Knowledge of the products/items selling in theoutlet

Proficient in the use ofMicros
