The purpose of the BCM function is to support strategic growth and productivity initiatives by actively engaging with all stakeholders across Solutions, the other divisions and group functions on initiatives within its responsibilities. 
In fulfilling its responsibilities Solutions BCM works with the Solutions business as well as all global stakeholders (Group BCM, GIT, Finance, Road BCM, Solutions BCM); ensuring that the Solutions organization has access to market leading global services, is scalable and future ready as well as continuously improving.

Solutions BCM is an integral part of supporting and driving DSV’s global business digital strategy, which is based on an enterprise principle, as well as to ensure that new capabilities are always being developed in-line with the market.

Responsibilities: 

Strategy, group, and enterprise: 

Actively contribute to DSVs overall business digital strategy including business and data architecture, priorities and roadmaps Ongoing alignment with the Solutions commercial organization, to ensure client offerings remain competitive or ahead of competition. Innovation - aligning and driving Solutions topics for future revenue growth; protecting our existing client base; enhancing our current offering.  Ensure upfront alignment that efforts in Solutions within the above areas with the global and enterprise strategy and priorities. Collaborate and align with Group BCM and BCM functions in Road and Solutions


Business cases

All initiatives within DSV are based on sound business cases. Solutions BCM is part of ensuring that business cases related to new solutions are in place and followed up using the standard DSV methodology.

Service catalogues: 

Supporting the business in defining service catalogues based on DSVs global framework. Strengthen & develop all service catalogues related to the systems & tools available in the Solutions division. Governance, maintenance, implementation of service catalogues in processes and solutions

Standard processes: 

Defining, optimizing, implementing, and following up on standard processes and SOPs Continuous improvement & development of these across systems & operational excellence ensuring that digitalization and automation is fully embraced.

Data standards and data quality: 

Defining data standards and data quality measures based on DSVs global data governance framework. Monitoring and following up on data quality measures Identifying and implementing initiatives to improve data quality.


Systems, tools and solutions: 

Defining requirements, testing, adoption as well as maintenance and operation once implemented Working closely with product teams in GIT and Group BCM using the globally defined standard product management framework.  Ensuring consistent global use of systems and alignment across geographies Alignment / setting of all KPI’s required in order to ensure all systems and tools are effectively utilized. Measuring and reporting requirements related to all the systems & tools (Includes but not limited to data quality, operational KPIs & all minimum standards)


Connectivity:

Together with Solutions BIM, GIT and Group BCM ensure that Solutions is easy to do business with when it comes to how we onboard, integrate and exchange information with customers and partners.


Change Strategy Development:

Formulate and execute a comprehensive change management strategy tailored to optimize warehousing processes and facilitate the successful implementation of solutions. Align change initiatives with the overall organizational objectives. Driving change management throughout the solutions organization i.e. communication, training, awareness and adoption on initiatives within its responsibilities Complete global awareness around all DSVs product range and digital services Strengthen and develop all training material related to the systems and tools available in the solutions division. This should encompass both commercial and operational requirements. Supporting and working with regional and local BCMs and ensuring they are trained and use global tools and approaches as needed.

Educational Qualifications & Work Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in change management, particularly within warehousing and solutions implementation. In-depth knowledge of warehousing operations and technology solutions. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with change management methodologies and best practices.
