Job Description

The role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of D360 Treasury, Payments, and Partnerships operations. He/she will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment with organizational goals and optimize processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in transaction processing and solving issues and record-keeping as well as collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and improve cross-functional communication

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the treasury, payments, and partnerships back-office team, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Work with product and finance teams to launch new treasury and payment products and establish compliant partnerships within the bank's operational risk tolerance, establishing systems, processes, and procedures to operationalize them.
  • Act as D360 primary relationship holder with Treasury & Payment counterparties and Partners in the execution of their banking and treasury operations, ensuring that all counterparty relationships are set up correctly and act as their point of contact to make sure that all counterparty documentation and confirmations are received and accurately stored
  • Ensure that all Front Office Treasury and Finance activities are adequately controlled and that appropriate documentation is received, in line with the Banks DOA and procedure documentation
  • Reviewing all treasury transactions to make sure that they are in line with limits and risk thresholds and making sure that all deals have been input correctly
  • Ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and properly accounted for in the GL statements for the bank and that proper controls exist
  • Work with the partnerships team to ensure that all BAAS relationships are set up effectively and in line with compliance and risk policies and ensure that there is sufficient capacity within the back-office teams to support their needs
  • Act as a role model to other areas of Back Office operations, providing support and guidance on their processes, procedures, and systems
  • Provide support to the Director – Back Office operations in the structuring, recruitment, and training across back-office operations and during periods of leave take a leadership role across Back Office Operations
  • Support in the development the risk management strategies to safeguard the integrity of banking operations
  • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives and decision-making processes to drive the overall success of the back-office operations.
  • Evaluate business activities to assess how to improve the bank process

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • A tertiary-level qualification from an internationally recognized institution

Years & Nature of Experience

  • Would have 8 to 10 years of equivalent experience in banking operations.
  • Has led technical processes in their area; excels at leading teams and worked effectively with other areas and stakeholders outside their function
  • If a manager of others has impacted team culture through their work
  • Has demonstrated ability to link technical contribution back to business impact for their team or area
  • In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
