The Job Holder is responsible to Plan, Monitor and Manage Data Center Function to maintain, install and updates of data center systems ensuring Data integrity.

Functional

  • Policy, Processes, Procedures and systems
  • Propose & Implement and enforce policies and procedures of the Data Center to improve the overall operation and effectiveness.
  • Lead the planning, design, implementation of multiCloud (Azure, AWS) and onprem, and maintenance of highly available and scalable data center architectures, including servers, storage systems, networking, and virtualization technologies.
  • Manage and optimize data center operations, including capacity planning, performance monitoring, and system availability to meet business demands and servicelevel agreements.
  • Planning & Organizing
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to understand Data Center requirements, scope, and deliverables, translating them into actionable plans and tasks for the team.
  • Collaborates with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless coordination and integration of Data Center activities.
  • Develops and manages the Functional budget, ensuring effective resource allocation, cost control, and return on investment.

  • Data Center
  • Manage and optimize Flynas system infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, Office365, Azure Cloud, and AWS cloud.
  • Develop the datacenter master plan and modify as appropriate to adjust for changing circumstances that fulfil Flynas needs.
  • Plan, schedule, and implement servers' upgrades, implementations, and migrations in a timely manner, and during times that will have the minimum impact on flynas's business services or users of the affected networks & systems
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to datacenter operations, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NCA-ECC, and ITIL.
  • Verify the alwayson Datacenter services by implementing the Disaster Recovery site and conduct the drill test frequently.
  • Situational Response & Problem Solving
  • Independently Analyze the Situations, diagnose the rootcauses and develop & implement the solutions to ensure that all immediate situations are responded on timely manners to avoid business risks and work delays.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure the data center infrastructure meets industry standards, compliance requirements, and security best practices, including physical and logical access controls, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and implement innovative technologies and solutions to enhance data center efficiency, scalability, and costeffectiveness, such as cloud integration, automation, and virtualization.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of processes & Technologies and Methodologies to ensure work and processes are continuously improved for achieving the efficiency and quality.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as vendors, partners, and industry leaders, to stay informed about industry trends and leverage potential collaborations.
  • Actively engages with customers and key stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and incorporate it into the Data Centre processes.
