About the Opportunity:
At Jacobs, we push the limits of what's possible to make the world smarter and more connected.

We are one of the delivery partners for NEOM The Line, one of the most iconic giga projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, arguably one of the largest projects in the world.

Jacobs is looking for a Senior Estimating Manager to be based at the project site. Playing a key role on this iconic project, you will be responsible for the creation of budgets and estimates.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare conceptual estimates for budgetary purposes
  • Prepare capital estimation plans based on project schedule an issue plan for review and implementation
  • Establish unit costs, labor rates, productivity factors and location impacts
  • Manage and coordinate the development of various types of estimates including scoping through to detail engineering studies
  • Review and evaluate estimates submitted by the design consultants
  • Prepare instructions to bidders, bid forms and other bid related material as required
  • Review and approve variation orders
  • Review and approve entitlement and estimated order of magnitude to include substantiation of variation notifications
  • Review and approve payment certifications

Here's What You'll Need:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Architecture
  • Previous experience working within a Estimating Manager capacity
  • Open to residing at the project site
  • Minimum of 10 years experience
  • Previous experience working on major projects, ideally mixeduse developments
  • Familiar with Cost X is strongly preferred
