Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Civil Estimator with a specialization in Real Estate Development projects and expertise with Building Information Modeling (BIM) to join our dynamic team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for large-scale real estate development projects.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to develop comprehensive project budgets.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and cost comparisons for different construction materials and methods.
- Update and maintain cost databases and historical data for future reference.
- Utilize BIM tools and software to support the estimation process.
- Collaborate with BIM coordinators to ensure accurate and up-to-date project models.
- Integrate BIM data into cost estimates and project schedules.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between BIM models and project documents.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost implications of design changes.
- Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Prepare detailed estimate reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Document assumptions, methodologies, and sources used in the estimation process.
- Maintain organized records of all estimate-related documents and communications.
- Identify potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates and develop mitigation strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in real estate development.
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) and estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, CostX).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Professional certification is a plus.
