The center of alfanar's industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar's facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

The quality specialist is responsible for overall Quality and Food Safety.

The quality specialist will also play an active role in customer satisfaction and in-depth analysis of the periodic surveys, suggesting ideas and solutions which are expected to reduce complaints and enhance the overall satisfaction

Functional Responsibilities

Food safety & Hygiene

  • Monitor overall Quality and Food Safety in the Central kitchen and the canteens. Including monitoring safe food handling practices and maintaining appropriate records.
  • Experience in HACCP & ISO22000 implementation and practices
  • Monitor Pest control service, cleaning chemical and sanitizers supplies, uniforms and other related services.
  • Promote a safe working environment, conduct risk assessments and properly monitor all identified critical points.
  • Develop and regularly review the work instructions.
  • Enforce Good Hygiene Practices and other preventative measures.

Customer Satisfaction

  • Continuous site visits to make sure all requirements are in place.
  • Periodic satisfaction surveys for staff and non-staff service and in-depth analysis.
  • Inject and implement ideas and solutions to promote the overall internal customer satisfaction.
General Responsibilities

  • Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
