JOB SUMMARY
The Catering Sales Manager holds responsibility for finalizing local catering and social business deals, ensuring smooth turnover for top-notch service delivery. This position plays a key role in surpassing catering revenue targets by actively upselling each business opportunity for maximum profit. The individual puts into practice the brand's service strategy throughout the sales process, fostering customer loyalty through excellent service.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related fields.
OR
• 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related disciplines from an accredited university; no prior work experience necessary.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Managing Sales Activities
• Oversees sales endeavors for the hotel, focusing on local corporate and social catering.
• Collaborates with off-property sales channels to ensure harmonized and effective sales efforts.
• Handles incoming catering leads for the hotel.
• Identifies, assesses, and pursues new catering opportunities to meet revenue goals.
• Keeps abreast of the market landscape, understanding competitors, economic trends, and demand to drive sales.
• Utilizes negotiation skills to secure business and craft contracts.
• Designs and promotes innovative catered events to boost revenue.
• Manages catering sales revenue, operational budgets, and provides forecasting reports.
• Develops menus that drive sales and supports event operations.
• Participates in brand's service standards, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Ensures high performance by increasing revenues and controlling expenses.

• Engages with various stakeholders to ensure guest satisfaction.
