Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement workflows, automation, and business processes using the ServiceNow Workflow Editor, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub, ensuring seamless integration with customer's cloud infrastructure.
  • Write and maintain serverside and clientside scripts (JavaScript) to enhance and customize ServiceNow functionality in alignment with the technological ecosystem.
  • Create userfriendly and intuitive user interfaces (UI) within the ServiceNow platform, tailored to the unique needs of Rackspace's clients for a positive enduser experience.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards that provide insights and monitor key performance indicators relevant to Rackspace's cloud services.
  • Identify and resolve issues, bugs, and performance problems within the ServiceNow platform, contributing to the reliability and efficiency cloud solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation for ServiceNow configurations, processes, and workflows, adhering to Rackspace's documentation standards.
  • Adhere to ServiceNow best practices, governance, and security standards
  • Provide training and support to endusers and administrators, ensuring effective use of the ServiceNow platform

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications are often preferred.
  • Configuration Management Experience (CMDB data model and relationships).
  • ServiceNow integration experience (REST APIs, SOAP, Remote tables, Integration Hub).
  • Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, its architecture, and modules.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
  • Experience with ITSM, ITIL, and knowledge of IT service management processes.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problemsolving and communication skills.
  • Experience with service mapping, business rules, and service catalogue development is a plus.
