Our Sales team support our customers by providing clinical information about products, educational information, clinical training programs and resources. We support healthcare providers and healthcare systems meet the goals of the patients in their communities.

Job purpose:


The Sales Director will be responsible for implementing Strategies and Building capabilities through and within the Sales teams in KSA.

Achieving the financial objectives of Diabetes and HAC franchises.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • The Sales Director is responsible for developing and implementing in collaboration with the cross functional teams, the G2M Model for the diabetes and HAC in KSA
  • Achieve financial Objectives of the franchises.
  • Sales Director builds talent & teams effectively acquired and developed future leaders and highperformance teams, with demonstrated ability to retain key talents, to energize and to inspire others to higher levels of effort and performance.
  • This position requires a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics in developing countries in relation to the functions above. It requires thorough strategic thinking to assess and develop plans related to various opportunities that are inline with Emerging Markets overall strategies.

Skills & Competencies:

Education:

  • University degree from accredited university, preferably in Pharmacy, Medicine, other health related degree, Engineering, Economics, BA or Finance.
  • An advanced degree in graduate studies (MA, MBA, or Medical Doctor) is a plus.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years work experience in the pharmaceutical industry including several years in marketing/sales.
  • Held diversified roles in and/or managed multiple functions, ie. Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Commercial, policy role.
  • Managed a P&L for a business or function.

Local requirements to succeed in the job:

  • Strong people orientation and be willing to invest time to build close relations with employees.
  • Very good understanding of policy and access dynamics.
  • Ability to navigate among many different stakeholders at various levels within corporate.
  • Setting the role model and be able to manage a high performing management team and organization.

Skills:

  • Fluent in English is mandatory. Arabic is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to mentor and support local management teams in brand and customer marketing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent financial management skills to oversee the P&L and sales forecasts.
  • External Connectivity, Collaboration/Boundary Spanning.
  • Relationship Building and Influence as a must: ability to build and sustain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, customers, and scientific leaders.
