  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
  • Current certification/licensure to teach PE
  • An advanced degree in a related field of study
  • Knowledge of the SHAPE Standards
  • Knowledge of Understanding by Design (UbD) principles
  • Experience and Skills

Experience

  • Teaching PE at the elementary school level in an international context
  • Leading and inspiring elementary students to be active and healthy
  • Organizing events and competitions
  • Documenting curriculum according to _Understanding by Design (UbD)_ principles
  • Designing programs based on the SHAPE Standards
  • Collaborating in a professional setting with large and small groups of colleagues
  • Leading groups of students and faculty
