The Learning & Development (L&D) Manager role will play an integral role in our new Training Academy and will be responsible for the design and delivery of learning programs to enhance colleagues' skills, knowledge, and performance.

The L&D Manager role involves establishing a strong partnership with the business, assessing the developmental needs to drive training initiatives, identify and arrange suitable training solutions for colleagues, and actively search, creatively design, and implement effective methods to develop and enhance performance.

The L&D Manager will be responsible for analysing the training needs, designing as well as delivering courses both to internal colleagues and external training.

Sourcing suppliers and working with key partners to ensure the training offered is world-class and fit for purpose. Monitoring and reporting engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Development:

  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs and materials that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Evaluate individual and organizational development needs.
  • Develop and implement learning strategies and programs that include elearning, workshops, simulations, etc.

Implementation and Delivery:

  • Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions for new hires.
  • Deliver training sessions using various forms of learning methods including classroom training and elearning
  • Oversee the logistics of training sessions, including scheduling, materials, and participant communications.

Evaluation and Assessment:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and learner outcomes.
  • Use performance metrics to assess training needs and results.
  • Modify and improve existing programs to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the organization.

4.

Leadership Development:

  • Create and manage leadership development programs to prepare highpotential employees for leadership roles.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to emerging leaders within the organization.

5. Monitoring engagement, reporting and continuous improvement

  • Ensure all training programs comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of training sessions, participant progress, and outcomes.
  • Review and analyse data ensuring you are always looking at ways to continually improve the learning offering
  • You will responsible for ensuring all training data and LMS is kept up to date weekly and be part of helping to produce leadership reports to demonstrate business impact and colleague engagement with learning initiatives and platforms.
