ROLE SUMMARY


Government Relations Officer & HR Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's relationship with government entities and managing essential human resources functions.

Responsible for establishing and maintaining strong connections with various government bodies, facilitating permits and licenses, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Additionally, supports the HR department in handling various HR-related tasks to promote a positive work environment.

What you'll do

  • Assist the HR department in various administrative tasks, such as employee onboarding, offboarding, and orientation programs.
  • Manage the HR information system and maintain accurate records of employee data.
  • Handle employee inquiries and address their concerns while maintaining confidentiality and ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Participate in the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to foster a productive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with employees and align with governmental entities for issuance and renewal of documents, including employment and residence visas, work permits, and licenses.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with government authorities, ministries, and agencies relevant to the company's operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to ensure seamless and timely transactions.
  • Stay updated with the latest laws, regulations, and policies related to the industry and ensure that the company complies with all applicable regulations.
  • Respond to employees' inquiries on social and health insurance matters.
  • Handle attestation of certificates and letters related to immigration and labor by the Chamber of Commerce
  • Review, sign, and upload contracts to the government portal.
  • Preparation of various types of letters for employees
  • Ensure compliance with the labor/immigration laws and regulations and inform HR of changes and amendments to the prevailing procedures and laws
  • Handle departure and exit formalities for employees after the cancellation of visas
  • Provide support and assistance to employees regarding governmentrelated issues

Essential for the role

  • Saudi National
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Administration).
  • Proven work experience as a Government Relations Officer or similar role, with a strong understanding of the local regulations and procedures in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Experience in HR coordination, including knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian labor laws, employment regulations, and visa/permit procedures is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with government authorities and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing governmentrelated documents and HR records.
  • Discretion and integrity when dealing with sensitive information.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HR information systems.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is essential, both written and spoken.
