JOB SUMMARY

Purpose is to handle tasks related to processing employees' visas and government documents, ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsible for daily Government Relations activities including visa and license applications, maintaining communication with various Government agencies.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience


- High school diploma or GED; 3 years of experience in government relations, human resources, management operations, or related area.

OR


- 2-year degree in Government Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; 1 year of experience in relevant areas.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Government Relations Activities


- Manages and ensures timely acquisition of various licenses for hotel, associates, and guests.


- Monitors expiration of visas, cards, and passports for all associates.


- Files visa applications for guests and employees, ensuring timely approvals.


- Maintains weekly cost overview with detailed justifications.


- Coordinates associates' departures at the airport for visa cancellations.


- Assists Sales Department with leads from local companies and Government institutions.


- Works with relevant government agencies to ensure proper document processing.

Managing Legal and Compliance Practices


- Ensures all necessary cards are approved and renewed on time.


- Maintains passport & visa filing system in the office.


- Ensures front office maintains proper guest passport filing system.


- Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and provides guidance to other departments.


- Ensures employee files contain required paperwork and are properly maintained and secured.


- Ensures compliance with procedures for employee file access, review, and audit.


- Communicates property rules and regulations through employee handbook.
