As a Head of Motion, you will be responsible for creating and monitoring the creation of visually stunning animations that engage and inspire the client audience, while remaining true to the brand voice, and project objectives.

As well, Inspire the Motion Designers/Art directors in the team by providing innovative, creative directions.

Requirements:


Hands-on experience with art directions, logo design, typography, color, print production, image selection, and package design, Proficiency in After effect, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design.

Demonstrable motion graphic skills with a strong portfolio. Great leadership skills and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Motion
  • Lead the motion team; giving a clear vision and direction to work, identifying key areas for improvements, and planning appropriate actions to meet them.
  • Devise, implement, and monitor a strategic plan for the continuous improvement of the department.
  • As part of the middle leadership team, make and implement strategic improvements as required.
  • Teamwork
  • Manage both the people and resources associated with the department.
  • Maintain the proper documentation and assets management and handovers
  • Follow project deadlines, time allocation and ensure a daily timesheet submission
  • Cooperate with the rest of the creative team across different types of media
  • Present completed ideas to clients/team members
  • Mentoring
  • Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide directions
  • Monitor the quality of learning experienced by the department, liaising with other departments, and offering support and guidance where necessary.
