Quality
Management & Business Excellence:

–Create and document
the processes and standards that will be used to ensure the quality of the
organization's products and services

–Establish quality
standards and criteria for what constitutes acceptable quality, as well as
developing processes for measuring and evaluating the quality of products and
services against these standards

–Conduct inspections,
testing, and audits as well as ongoing monitoring and evaluation to ensure that
products and services meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations

–Identify and address
issues/problems that may arise with SCA's products or services by analyzing
data and information to identify trends or patterns, as well as implementing
corrective actions to address any identified issues

–Involve constantly
assessing work to ensure that it meets the quality expectations of the
receiving stakeholder

–Provide training to
employees on quality principles and practices, in order to ensure that all
employees understand and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality

–Provide regular
reports and updates on the performance of the organization's quality management
systems, as well as any issues or concerns that have been identified

–Helps identify root
causes of certain issues and ensure they do not reoccur

–Define, prioritize,
validate, and develop plan to implement improvement actions

–conduct benchmarks and
gap analysis in order to identify areas where SCA can improve its performance
relative to best practices

–Track and measure the
impact and effectiveness of improvement initiatives, by collecting and
analyzing data on the results of improvement efforts, and using that data to
identify areas for further improvement

Risk Management
Strategy:

–Lead the formulation
and implementation of SCA's risk management strategy, policies and procedures,
in close coordination with the Board of Directors, that will guide all risk
management activities

–Oversee SCA's risk
management framework and assessing the effectiveness of the systems and
mechanisms for determining and monitoring the risks that threaten the Authority
in order to determine areas of inadequacy therein

–Directs the periodic
review of risk management policies and ensures necessary adjustments based on
identified changes in the market environment are implemented seamlessly and
best-practice methodology is applied

–Manage and maintain
risk register, impact and probability analysis, response planning analysis,
etc.

–Promote a risk
awareness culture across SCA through delivering regular communication messages
and trainings to staff

Risk Management
Operations:

–Prepare detailed
reports on the exposure to risks and the recommended measures to manage such
risks, and present them to the Board

–Develop and manage
risk management related processes (e.g. detection, evaluation, prevention,
monitoring, reporting)

–Monitor risks and
develop mitigation/contingency plans if the risk is triggered in order to
resolve the risk

–Proactively identify
and assess strategic, financial and operational risks facing SCA, including
risks associated with potential business opportunities

–Keeps abreast of
developments in the internal and external business environment, economic and
political situations, and reviews and compiles management reports on potential
risk factors, exposures, trends and changes that may impact the business

–Coordinate with SCA's
departments to ensure that risk management is integrated into the authority's
overall operations

External
Relations:

–Develop the SCA
external relations and communications strategies.

–Lead the development
of close and effective relationships with the government entities who had an
influence on SCA or contracting industry.

–Identify new
opportunities for external engagement, partnership working and collaboration.

–Acting as a point of
contact for the SCA external communication when appropriate.

–Support the work of
senior staff in building relationships with local, regional, and international
partners.

–Drafting and following
up all letters and correspondence with government entities.

–Respond to all
inquiries and correspondence from the relevant government entities.

–Contribute to speeding
up the completion of the Authority's transactions with government entities
related to the sector.

–Follow up the SCA
needs and requirements with the government entities related to the sector.

RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent, with 0 - 2 years of related experience.
