Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job

  • Plan, organize and deliver the annual sales budget meeting financial objectives contributing to India
- for Paints and Coatings business: cellulose ethers and surfactants for paints, coatings,
- and allied industries.

  • Identifying and creating new opportunities for new business development.
  • Foster and build business relationships with potential & existing customers, distributors, and all appropriate business channels. Enhancing customer experience.
  • OWC, Margin Management and Demand planning.
  • Coordinate internal interface between Customer Service, Technical Service and the Sales and Marketing Team.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with related key stake holders in the industry for the promotion of Nouryon innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Ensures that all Sales & Marketing activities are in strict compliance with Nouryon 's Business and Anti-Competition Principles.
  • Competitive Market Intelligence, market mapping and watch Market development.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the five stages of Nouryon sales process: Opportunity Identification, Validate Opportunity, Proposal Development, Sales Negotiations & Approval and Product Delivery and After Sales Support.
  • Work in accordance with Nouryon global and regional business strategies.
  • Work closely with Technical Service team & give Product improvement / development feedback to them. Marketing and product promotion.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities for business growth and accountable for the commitment of financial numbers annually.
  • Should be able to work with different verticals in the allied industry having prioritized focus on specialty chemicals for paints, coatings, inks, and asphalt.
  • Ability & adaptability to work with customers of different size & scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse, draw conclusions, and create solutions to customers' issues.
  • Adaptive to business tools of CRM, forecasting, management of opportunities and sales data for records and data driven decisions.
  • Liaise with Sales Support / Customer Support / Technical Service and address needs of Customers following Nouryon values

Qualifications and Industry experience

  • Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Chemical Engineering. Maters in Marketing Management is desirable
  • Minimum of 7 years of Sales and Business Development experience in the Specialty Chemical used in Paints, Coatings, Construction etc. Industry

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Result driven
  • Ability to influence stakeholders (Internal and External)
  • Ability to work as part of a team and good interpersonal skills.
  • Be willing to develop and support company policies, procedures and initiatives
