SUMMARY OF THE ROLE


As a Purchase Executive you will be a key player of the Purchasing team and will be executing delegated operational purchasing tasks in accordance with Group Purchasing (GP) policies for Raw Material (RM), Purchased Finished Goods (PFG), and Direct Packaging Material (DPM), in collaboration with local stakeholders and GP, to ensure optimal customer delivery service.

This position is part of our MEIA Graduate Program, which is tailor-made for newly graduated talents.

Through this program, you will accelerate your career through personal development plans, local or international assignments, challenging and exciting tasks, and focused training programs over the course of a year.

This position is based in Jeddah & will report to the Purchasing Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the planning process.
  • Place and expedite purchase orders for specific material categories, following GP guidelines.
  • Communicate with GP category managers regarding material requirements and supplier performance.
  • Assist in assessing optimal logistics solutions for materials, considering various factors.
  • Aid in identifying potential local suppliers and maintaining relationships.
  • Support the Purchasing Manager in managing supplier invoices and adherence to regulations

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or any related field. 13 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in English both verbally and written
  • Saudi Nationals Only
