About this opportunity
We are now looking for oracle database engineer provides technical support for Exadata middleware products with a focus on oracle SOA suite, oracle OSB and monitoring solutions like oracle enterprise manger cloud control


The role focuses on implementing design, audit and optimization of services, where you will be accountable for part of the solution and of the service process.

Hereby, you should be able to keep time, performance, and quality according to Ericsson requirements and customer contracts.

What you will do

  • Proven working experience as a Database Administrator experience with Oracle RAC 11g/12c/19c (Administration/Upgrade/Patching).
  • Experience on Exadata
  • Handson experience with database standards, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
  • Maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
  • Oracle ASM (Administration/Upgrade/Patching).
  • Disaster Recovery Oracle Data Guard (Administration/Upgrade/Patching).
  • Oracle Enterprise Monitoring 12c/13c
  • Oracle Database Upgrade/Patching
  • Oracle Database backup and recovery tools (exp/imp, data dump, RMAN etc).
  • Excellent Database performance tuning skill is desired.
  • Should be well versed with administering Oracle DB in the Unix environment.
  • Patch and release management (database, storage node, server, network, Oracle Exadata)
  • Monitor and address database machine alerts For Oracle Exadata New database instance creation, backup and recovery procedures implementation, Database administration, Performance
  • Tuning of the database
  • Set up alerts and threshold criteria in Enterprise Manager Cloud Control
  • EMC Networker administration and operations

You will bring

  • Education: Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom, computer science)

Additional Requirements:

  • Provide advice and support to development team
  • Ability to establish a high level of customer trust and confidence
  • Able to work independently, to achieve the operation requirements
