As a
Project Leader / Principal, you will be in charge of managing project teams that design and develop innovative business strategies for client corporations.
You will work jointly with BCG and client project teams, bringing expertise to the team and to the client on site.
You will lead project teams comprised of consultants and associate consultants enabling them to find the right approach, motivate them to deliver on time and to achieve long-term impact for our clients as well as support our growth targets for your industry topic.
You will guide diverse teams of consulting talents and help them to flourish through thought leadership, team mentoring and business development.
You will be a point of reference for our clients who will seek your advice on business issues that extend beyond the immediate scope of your project work.
You will also
- Lead the daytoday execution of consulting projects, ensuring the successful delivery of client requirements within the scope of the engagement
- Act as a key topic content lead for proposals or other business development activities;
- Develop, manage and maintain client relationships
- Provide apprenticeship and coaching to junior consultants to help them develop their consulting skills, including sharing knowledge and experience, giving frequent feedback and creating opportunities for team members to learn and grow
- Contribute to the development of intellectual property within your Practice Area of reference, including improving methodologies, tools, techniques and developing new ideas and approaches
- Define client needs or challenges and direct and supervise research activities to obtain relevant data
- Execute strategic due diligence, product development studies and the development of change management plans
- Prepare and present oral and written reports of case team findings to client management
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications):
You would typically have:
- 8+ years of experience within a leading strategy consulting firm, potentially combined with experience from a (strategy) role in the industry
- Experience in leading teams and managing projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to synthesize the team's work into recommendations presented to clients, and deliver oral and written reports to the client management
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- The proven ability to manage client engagements, client relationships, and provide support and guidance to teams and colleagues, owning the responsibility of project work
- A solid track record of building strong client relationships with large organizations, as well as identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and grow the business
