Job Purpose:


The Lead Engineer, Reliability Provide Departments planning support to the Technical, Maintenance and Plant Operations in order to keep the plant operating at its optimum reliability and capacity in a cost effective and timely manner.

Develop the Planning organization to accomplish the Business Plan Maintenance and best practice objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure preparation of the work plan and time schedule for Preventive & Corrective Maintenance on a weekly basis and those sufficient resources are sourced from contractors and vendors in order to keep the Plant running optimally and continuously.
  • Ensures that maintenance resources are effectively allocated across the complex. Coordinates with maintenance engineers (mechanical/electrical/control) for scheduling of their area related jobs, which involve maintenance facilities.
  • Ensures that planning and scheduling is coordinated for plant modifications executed by the maintenance organization.
  • Monitors daily progress and issues progress reports during shutdown with focus on critical path and key issues.
  • Supervises Personnel to ensure Planning/scheduling and follow up of plant Preventive Maintenance jobs and daily routine jobs related to plant facilities, workshop/rotating equipment/ heavy equipment and civil (Scaffolding, Insulation, painting etc.).

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferably with professional certification in project management e.g. PMP. Project Management skills especially with computerized Project Management Software like MS-Project, Primavera and Computerized maintenance management Systems.

Minimum Experience:


min 7 years in engineering, production maintenance of which at least 5 years of planning and scheduling experience in a computerized environment.

Familiar with maintenance planning for stationary equipment (tanks, vessels, columns, reactors and heat exchangers etc.) rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, steam and gas turbines etc.) and mechanical handling equipment (conveyors etc.).


Skills:

  • Excellent skills in documentation of work plans, time schedules and costing.
  • Multitasking across operations, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance and process engineering
  • Strong negotiating ability and effective communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship building skills (internal and external)
  • Strong work ethic and be able to adhere to company, policies, and standard business etiquette.
  • Establishment of strong network of suppliers and vendors
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English required,
  • Selfstarter with mínimal supervision for routine activities.
  • Extensive computer skills in using Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) plus other software pertinent to the work performed would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and foster a cooperative team environment.
  • Bilingual or multilingual is a plus.
  • International work experience in remote camp environment.
