Summary

ES/MS Registrar a key member of a dynamic team serving the office of American School Dhahran. The position is primarily responsible for managing student enrollment in American School Dhahran.

Working days may be required during the school's summer vacations.

Position Duties

  • Demonstrate commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection).
  • Manage students' enrollment and scheduling.
  • Manage withdrawal paperwork preparation.
  • Assist parents with letter requests.
  • Maintain accurate student records in the school database.
  • Provide assistance and support to the ASD admission coordinator.
  • Communicating and coordinating with GRO for attestation of paperwork.
  • Data mining and reporting as needed by school or district administration.
  • Take initiative in prioritizing tasks to ensure deadlines are met and the overall administrative function of the school runs smoothly.
  • Manage school students' Google accounts creation, editing, and suspension.
  • Manage school Google groups.
  • Manage student ID creation with support at the start of the year for bulk new IDs.
  • Respond to urgent requests.
  • Exercise reasonable judgment.
  • Be part of the safety emergency team.
  • Be part of the graduation team.
  • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of ISG policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a close working relationship with all ASD stakeholders (students, parents, staff, and ISG personnel).
  • Maintain a safe learning environment for students and staff at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal and the Assistant Principals.
Qualifications and Knowledge

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the use of IT in an administration role.
Experience and Skills

Experience

  • Previous experience as a school registrar and admission coordinator.

  • Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
  • Highlydeveloped organizational skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
