The Regional Sales Manager Saudi Arabia (Must be a Saudi National ) will be fully responsible for demand creation, sales and sales support for the Saudi region.

The RSM will lead the growth strategy to achieve a yearly turnover of >10 M USD by driving and implementing the strategy in next 1-2 years.


Tasks Summary:

  • Maintaining and developing customer relationship and promoting customer understanding of TE connectivity products /services and align offering.
  • Ensuring extraordinary customer experience throughout all stages of the sales process.
  • Manage /Communicating proposals and contracts details in accordance to TE strategy.
  • Identifying and capturing new market opportunities and ensure knowhow sharing.
  • Ensuring appropriate technical and commercial aspects including prices and sales conditions as well as AR control and responsibility
  • Preparing the sales plans and risk reviews using the company tools.
  • Focus on delivering Saudi growth strategy both short/long term with measurable KPIs
  • Proactively identify and resolve internal and external roadblocks which hold back growth opportunities by implementing processes to systematically remove these roadblocks.
  • Develop executive level customer relationships (senior level management, engineering, procurement, supply chain, quality etc.) to strengthen TE relationships and demonstrate TE technologies and capabilities and solutions.
  • Ensure the "Voice of the Customer" is translated into functional requirements in TE products and services. Understand TE's target markets, customers and the customer expectations / requirements.
  • Maintain a rigorous cadence of growing the sales pipeline, managing opportunities through the sales cycle, converting opportunities into sales, and maintaining pipeline integrity.
  • Provide accurate monthly sales forecast reports (bookings and billings).

Qualifications:

  • At least Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Power MBA preferred
  • Min of 7 years experience in a technical Sales role in the Energy management field; preferably Cable/Cable Accessories, in Transmission and distribution industries. Mainly with major contractors
  • Must have experience handling mega projects through contractors.
  • Local Saudi Market knowledge (Must)
  • A good understanding on technologies and product portfolio similar as TE's.
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with business plans.
  • Fluent communication skills in Arabic (written & verbal), high level of written and verbal English communication skills (including presentation skills)
  • Professional selling and negotiation skills
