Job Purpose: The Associate Manager of the Annual Meetings Section, in compliance with internal guidelines, provides strategic and operational leadership to the team in transforming, innovating, and managing IsDB Group's Events Key Accountabilities:
  • Provide strategic direction, industry best-practices, and functional, technical and program anagement guidance to the team. Devise innovative, flexible, and sustainable service solutions, operations standards, and related annual work plans for IsDB
  • Transform Events Management services into best-in-class in terms of service offerings, user needs and experience, service and operational excellence, state-of-the-art technologies, tools and processes, vendor performance, and value management.
  • Lead engagements with 3rd party specialist firms; Assume responsibility for the vendor management and performance of contracted 3rd party service providers.
  • Oversees activities handled by the Events Management Team, including acting as the primary interface role for providing expertise, direction, and support and leading client and busines
  • Monitor the effective and efficient planning, scheduling. setup, hosting. running, and evaluating completed events and overall customer-experience (feedback and improvement recommendations).
  • Manage the support for institutional and departmental, periodic, standard, and customizable events, held physically, virtually, and/or at hybrid levels, with internal and external audiences.
  • Carry out coordination with internal IMDT teams, external specialist vendors, and technical experts regarding
    Events solutions,implementations, and any required technical support.
  • Manage, control, and monitor allocated budgets for the assised projects.
    Guide the Team in administering contracts, budgets, and monitoring progress of implementation to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Prepare and Deliver all plans, program work-streams and initiatives/ projects per agreed scope, schedule, budgets, and stakeholder experience.
  • Provide clear direction, supervise the performance of, and coach and develop the capabilities of reporting staff to create a continuously learning and improving team and function.
  • Conduct periodic studies, benchmarking with other international financial organizations to recalibrate and enhance strategies, services, operations.
  • Promote culture of excellence in the work of the division includes collaboration with the Manager, and Heads of other sections.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned and reflected in the workplan.
Education, Certification & Experience::


•Master's Degree in in Business / Public Administration, Marketing, Communications Company Secretaryship, or related field.

•8 years of experience in events planning and execution


• Minimum 3 years of relevant Managerial experience

Skills & Necessary Knowledge:
  • Proven project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize
  • Knowledge of event planning software, such as Eventbrite, is desirable but not essential#J-18808-Ljbffr
